Countermeasure is applicable only upon claim from the customer. Symptom: 1) The output signal might be interrupted when customer selects the input selector at OPT digital input. 2) When playing a "DTS96/24" track from a specific DVD-Audio disc, the output signal might be interrupted. 3) When the unit turns from "CEC stand-by" to "ON", the output signal might be changing to "2ch PCM". Solution: We corrected the firmware so that no malfunction occurs. METHOD OF UPDATE via DPMS Read me first! Please initialize the unit before updating the firmware if you have never updated the firmware of the unit via "DPMS". When you already updated the firmware of the unit via "DPMS", it is not necessary to initialize the unit again. Updating the firmware (Refer to the Instruction Manual.) 1) Turn the Power Supply of the unit off. 2) Connect the Ethernet terminal of the unit to the Network line by Ethernet straight cable. (Don't use Ethernet cross cable.) 3) The connection of the network recommends the Ethernet cable for certain update. 4) Turn the Power Supply of the unit on. 5) The unit sets the Internet.
